La Section D'or

Imagine you are in Paris in 1910, sitting in a café with Marcel Duchamp, discussing the principles of Cubism. This was the inspiration for the new Bistro Guillaume in Sydney.

Like the French artists of that time, the interior was planned, using the pure mathematical system of the Section D’or, crafting the space in a grid formation through a matrix of timber and bronze frames. The restaurant aims to imbue the sense of nostalgia of an old French bistro, whilst feeling absolutely contemporary in its detailing.
